The British Columbia Kendo Federation is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization with a stated mission to promote and support the development of kendo in British Columbia.

Our member dojo enjoy excellent cooperation and many common benefits arising from their joint efforts. The BCKF hosts several tournaments and workshops on an annual basis and coordinates kyu grading for all clubs in the province.

The Federation also offers common services to the membership including group liability insurance, inter-federation communications, special events coordination and fundraising.

Kendo has a rich history in B.C. and the BCKF is working hard to build on that foundation to ensure a strong future.

Women's Kendo Seminar with Chinatsu Murayama Sensei, past All Japan & World Champion, to be held on Feb. 6 from 1pm to 4pm at the Steveston dojo. A godo keiko from 4pm-6pm will be open to all BCKF members.
